I started flying drones over a decade ago back when I was studying at Cornell University. My interest was piqued when I took an entrepreneurship course and my team developed a business plan for using drones in agriculture. I decided to turn this passion of mine into a serious business after college. I moved down to Costa Rica where I imaged large farms (>1000 acres) and was the original drone service provider for the largest construction project in Costa Rica (the building of a port in Moin, Limon).

After this, I got involved on the project management and software development side of the drone industry. I worked on flight planning software and 3D reconstruction/photogrammetry software as a developer. For the last 2 years, I have been building a drone service company, Nimbus Drone Ventures, LLC (DBA as Nimbus Flight and Plan Drone Flight), servicing the southeast US.

We are experts in land marketing, providing detailed property notes, dash cam footage, and ground images/videos in addition to aerial photography. We have an RTK Anzu Raptor, a Teledyne Flir Siras thermal (640*512) (NDAA compliant), a Skydio 2, some DJI drones, and insta360, and are constantly acquiring new equipment such as GNSS ground station, higher resolution DSLR and Lidar (soon).
