About Urban Aspect, LLC

Urban Aspect, LLC is Virginia-based company focused on providing high-quality documentation services for the built environment. All of our pilots are FAA Part 107 certified remote pilots and familiar with working in a variety of conditions including active construction, rehabilitation, and disaster response. Our founders are classically trained as civil engineers and have experience working closely with construction project teams to note deficiencies.

Our Method:
We capture videography and photography using the latest aerial systems, including a DJI Phantom 4 Pro. We offer infrared photography using the DJI Mavic 2 Dual platform. All editing is done in house by the pilot who flies your mission so your specific preferences can be conveyed conveniently and accurately. We are insured prior to each flight for the specific risks and area where the flight will take place. We also travel! The first 30 minutes of travel to and from our mission are included with any job.

Site time will be billed as a one hour minimum and post-processing time will be billed on a pro-rated time basis to 15 minute intervals. Our rate includes all expenses with exception to unique situations where additional resources may need to be used (if traveling, airfare and lodging for example). These expenses will be discussed with each client individually.

We specialize in construction documentation, existing infrastructure asset documentation, and capturing visuals of the built environment for use by other professionals. We are open to new areas of interest and unique challenges! We are always expanding our fleet, however, we currently operate a DJI Phantom 4 Pro and DJI Mavic Air with various software packages that include autonomous flight patterns, 3D modeling, and high-resolution vicinity maps.
