Got into drones in 2016 when I was taking a ground school class for my Private Pilot's license and realized much of the material was the same as what I needed to get a remote pilot's license so I went for it and now fly residential and commercial drone photo and video missions from my home base in Myersville, MD. My missions so far have ranged from roof inspections and weddings to commercial real estate shoots and mapping missions using Drone Deploy & Pix4D to filming outdoor sporting events for local colleges and universities. I hold FAA waivers for all the local airports including Frederick, Dulles and BWI, enabling me to fly commercially within the 5 mile radius of the airports. My drone fleet includes a Mavic 2 Pro & a Phantom 4 Pro V2.0.
