Dr. Bill Davison is a FAA licensed sUAS (small unmanned aerial system) pilot after spending the bulk of his professional career as a materials engineer specializing in analytical techniques related to new product and technology development.

He became intrigued with drones after a conversation with a Intel R&D manager who related that company's venture into choreographed drone fleets such as those seen at Super Bowl halftime shows and rock concerts.

Having utilized advanced analytical techniques since graduate school in the 1980's he is naturally attracted to the imaging software available for small drones to map, construct 3D images, compute volumes and other analyses.

Training and certifications include the Pix4D orientation and advanced course in aerial mapping, the 2018 Drone U Fly-In, and is a Drone Base Eagle View qualified pilot. Formal education degrees earned are undergraduate engineering from The Ohio State University, and doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and MBA from the Dolan School at Fairfield University (CT).

Based in the Denver, Colorado foothills, Dr. Davison is familiar with and has access to Cape Cod and eastern Massachusetts, the San Francisco Bay Area and Central California Coast, and Central Ohio, and anywhere there is drone imaging to do!
