Joe Lange moved to Austin in 2008 to pursue his passion for filmmaking at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2012, he graduated with a degree in Radio-Television-Film. He quickly picked up several professional internships in the field as a production intern with Conan O’brien and DMG entertainment. Next, he moved on to a position working for the City of Austin with a focus on creative media projects. This is where he first encountered aerial cinematography, and first became "part 107" certified to fly as a commercial drone pilot. In 2017, with the support of his family and friends, Joe started Flying Penguin Films, LLC. In his free time, Joe loves to perform improv comedy with his girlfriend Natashia. He also passionately records music from his home recording studio. Thankful for a full and rewarding life and career, Joe is always excited about the opportunity to deliver excellent video productions to local Austin businesses.
