He was a forester for the Mississippi Forestry Commission, where he was instrumental in the incorporation of GPS and GIS technology into the everyday workflow. In addition, he also worked part time since 2003 with the USDA Forest Service National Infrared Operations Unit mapping wildland fires using infrared technology.

Buck is a FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot and can be insured up to whatever amount you may require. He is also still a registered forester in the state of Mississippi with over 35 years of experience in forest, fire, and personnel management.

Recent drone work has included; hail damage assessment, 360 panorama photography, recently qualified to fly insurance appraisal missions, ortho-mosaic photography.
