My name is Torey Thompson, personally I enjoy flying aircrafts because it is like an extra pair of eyes in the sky. The speed, the efficiency, drones are the future, and it is best we understand how to make the most of them. My experience has mostly been tailored to the GIS realm of drone mapping, my company, LandGazzer, had our first large contract in 2024 where we used the DJI Matricee 300 with the Zenmuse L2 Lidar Sensor to map the interior of our clients factory, and the exterior, this allowed them to establish an exterior map, roofing map, an As-Built building information model (BIM) showcasing their entire layout, and electrical plan. I use drones to make all the processes of professionals jobs faster and more efficient. I love flying, and seek to do it for as long as I can.
