Mr. Arteaga has over 38 years of experience in Government and Aerospace engineering development programs, including the design and integration of navigation systems. 

Education:

Mr. Arteaga received his Post-Graduate Degree from Columbia University in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence with the Emeritus Scholar distinction.

Mr. Arteaga received his Professional Engineer Degree and Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California in Systems Engineering and also received a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, and Electrical Engineer Degree from Boston University.

Patents:

Mr. Arteaga is an Inventor and Research Engineer.  He is an expert on sUAS operations, Detect and Avoid systems and has filed patents (US 11/315297, 9,405,005) with NASA and Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Awards:
In Sept 2021, Mr Arteaga recieved NASA's Commercial Invention of the Year Award 2021 for the UAS Detect-and-Avoid System using ADS-B

In August  2017,  Mr. Arteaga received the National FLC Excellence in Technology award for the UAS Detect-and-Avoid System using ADS-B.

Flight Certifications:

Flight experience at the USAF Test Pilot School includes flying a Lear jet Model 25. Manned Aircraft License, Pilot License Part 107 sUAS Certification.
