Terrain Drone Solutions was founded in 2022 by ecologist and US Navy veteran Roy Cook. Just a partial list of what Terrain can provide to ecological researchers and natural resource managers include: high resolution imaging/mapping for pre-restoration site assessment, restoration construction progress, and post-restoration monitoring; 2D mapping and 3D modelling of terrain for runoff, erosion and sedimentation visualization and monitoring; RGB and thermal imaging for wildlife population counts; and obtaining visual data in difficult or dangerous terrain. We're also working to obtain the capability to collect bathymetric data using remotely operated vehicles.
We also provide solutions for agriculture, construction, mapping, inspection (RGB and thermal), and general photography/videography needs.
