Hi, it’s good to meet you. I’m Chris Francescani, founder and chief pilot at Sunset Beach Films, a drone photography and cinematography service on Eastern Long Island. I am an FAA-certified remote pilot. I’ve been flying drones and writing about the industry (for the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, The Washington Post, ABC News and NBC News) since 2013.

Prior to launching Sunset Beach Films, I spent years in broadcast television and other news outlets as an investigative reporter for ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, Reuters, the Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, the New York Post and the Southampton Press. I also serve as secretary to the executive board of AUVSI NY.
