I have a background in commercial film and video production from Brooks Institute of Photography. Drone photography is a unique way of capturing compelling establishing shots or details from a unique perspective in ways that would not be possible with traditional photography. I see a drone not so much as a drone but as a camera that I can choose to place in any point in space. In this way, it is someone akin to animation where the animator has the complete ability to place a camera and define the perspective.
I have been flying for years but have recently become FAA Part 107 certified. I am familiar with applicable safety, rules, and regulations as to where we can fly in the US. I'll check the wind speed, airspace classification, and consider the lighting before even taking off. If we are shooting video, I'll consider our desired outcome, format, and shutter speed to get the look you are going for.
I have an amazing full time just in live video production that I bring a lot of experience from. However, I am passionate about drone production, can't get enough and love flying as much as I can.
