I am a drone pilot with 3 years of experience flying commercially. I have also taught a drone journalism course, teaching college students how to fly and use drone footage effectively.
I specialize in aerial photography and videography. I have flown a number of missions over the University of Missouri (MU) campus (including numerous on Francis Quadrangle) as well as flights on the Katy Trail. I've also assisted with aerial photography of an archaeological site in eastern Missouri, taught drone journalism classes for a strategic communication course and done client work throughout central Missouri. For the past two years I have been teaching MU students how to fly drones safely and effectively (and how to, if they choose, obtain their Part 107 license). This has been done in part through the drone journalism class and in part through independent instruction.
In profession, I am a multimedia journalist and filmmaker with a master's degree in documentary journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism. I am available for drone photography/videography, video editing and other visual needs.
Deliverables always shot with ND filters when appropriate and can be shot in your choice of formats. Add-ons include full edits and color grading. Part 107 licensed (and renewed) and insured.
