I have been a commercial pilot for 25 years in the Vancouver and Portland area. I've been flying sUAS aircraft for 8 years and certified as a remote (drone) pilot last year. Before drone mounted cameras were available, I worked as a commercial photographer while progressing in my aviation career. My jobs included school portraits, weddings, aerial property, landscape, and "static" police action shots. Currently, my aerial filming mostly includes real estate jobs. Before aviation, my background was in construction and farming. So, I am familiar with architectural, roof, damage and crop inspection needs. In addition to the drone for aerial work, my equipment includes a handheld FLIR/Thermal imaging unit for ground level inspections.
