Hello I'm Jon Romero, owner of Scout Aerial Solutions.

I have been working In construction with the local laborers 238 for the past 7 years in
Spokane. More specifically in Natural gas pipeline with NPL construction. I have had work through a
couple different companies to include Garco, J&k and Winkler construction but have been with NPL
for most of my time. I have been hands on with pipe and operate mostly equipment as a laborer
(primarily Vac Trucks).

I have also had 10 year and 1 deployment to the middle east from the WA Army National
Guard as a Sergent. My job in the Army as a Cavalry Scout in the primary role of Reconnaissance.
Our job is to not only gather information about enemy positions but also information on terrain,
obstacles , route traffic-ability, local populations and affiliations to better allow theater commanders
to move troops to needed areas safely and efficiently. Information is key to success.

The Army qualified me to operate the RQ-11 Raven SUAS 2018. I saw potential in drone
capabilities in the civilian sector not so much as a marketing tool but as a job site asset. Most maps
and data are hand written and information gathering, which had no real stopgap or mediation if
something went wrong. Nothing to look back on besides numbers, a hand drawn map and
signatures. I see a lot of growth in this sector of information collection using this tool. I want to use
my dual career experience and technical expertise to help companies be more efficient.
