I am a retired law enforcement officer of 20 years, having worked for the Utah Department of Corrections and most recently Utah Adult Probation & Parole. I maintain my special function officer certification as a Salt Lake County Deputy Constable in case I choose to return to law enforcement as a full time profession.
I became interested in flying drones at about the same time I started thinking about retirement. As a young 42 year old retired person; I was not about to stop working but wanted to do something I loved. I decided to turn my drone flying hobby into a profession and obtained my FAA Part 107 UAS Certificate.
