I am a lifelong learner with a passion for understanding how things work. A very technically-minded shooter, I believe I have a keen eye for industrial and aviation photography. Since receiving my grandfather’s 1940s 35mm camera at the age of 10, I have been balancing my passions for photography and engineering. Over time I’ve created a niche in photography where these two passions are in sync. In recent years I have anticipated/recognized the need for professional drone photography. Not only am I now an experienced drone photographer, but I am an insured, FAA-licensed drone photographer. This ensures a safer, higher-quality professional experience and outcome.
My typical drone jobs consist of construction, mapping and video production for companies like IMI construction, Plano, Cintas, GE Aviation, Discovery etc.
My intrinsic understanding for how things work, along with nearly two decades of experience in aviation photography offers a unique skillset to my industrial clients. I live in the Midwest, but I am always willing to travel. In fact my many experiences traveling the country and overseas have allowed me to be more prepared when shooting far from home.
