I began in the forestry industry at 16 years old in 2001, working in road building and logging fields until 2009 when I enlisted in the Oregon Army National Guard as a 15W UAV Operator. From 2010-2016 I worked 50% of the time in the logging industry and the other 50% deployed with UAS operations.

Iraq, Operation Inherent Resolve, Aircraft Commander, Mission Coordinator, Payload Operator, Alternate Flight Ops Manager (Private Contractor/Textron Systems, March 2015-May 2016)

In 2016, I returned to college earning an A.A.S. Agriculture and Natural Resources, A.S. General Studies (Tillamook Bay Community College, 2018 4.0 GPA), and a B.S. Forestry/Forest Management (Oregon State University, 2020 3.4 GPA). Also working in many forestry and GIS internships along the way. In September 2019, I began NW Drone Solutions LLC dba Scotts Forestry and was awarded and subsequently completed 3 government contracts for Forestry Support Services.

Due to pandemic related self employment difficulties, I began employment with Weyerhaeuser as a Harvest Manager/Contract Administrator in December 2020. Due to the impact of employment stressors on family life, and the inability to pursue any self employment while employed, Weyerhaeuser and I decided to part ways in June 2022 so I could pursue full time self employment once again.
