I'm Nathan Alicie, a retired Apache helicopter pilot with over 2,000 flight hours of experience in the United States Army. After my military career, I pursued my passion for flying by becoming a professional drone pilot, specializing in mapping, inspection, and progress tracking.
I've always been interested in drones, and during my time in the military, I saw the potential for unmanned aircraft to provide critical information in battlefield situations. When I retired, I decided to apply my skills and experience to the civilian sector and become a drone pilot.
I quickly gained a reputation for my precision flying skills and attention to detail. My military training helped me to operate drones with the same level of precision as I did my Apache helicopter, and I was able to adapt quickly to new technologies and integrate them into my drone operations.
As a professional drone pilot, I've been able to provide valuable services to a range of industries. I specialize in drone mapping, inspection, and progress tracking, providing detailed data to help companies make informed decisions. One of my most notable projects was a large-scale mapping project for a consulting firm for the village of Saranac Lake, NY. I used my enterprise level drone to map out critical infrastructure, such as bridges, highways, and buildings, providing the contractor detailed data that allowed them to identify potential areas for energy infrastructure installation. Ultimately, this will save the city time and money.
My reputation for precision flying and attention to detail has earned me a loyal client base. I'm always eager to take on new challenges and use my skills to provide valuable information to my clients. As a retired Apache helicopter pilot, I'm proud to continue serving my community through my work as a professional drone pilot.
