I am a marine ecologist with specialized skills in geoinformatics; focusing on the utility of stakeholder engagement, participatory research and various information technologies to create useful information and support a collaborative approach to environmental decision-making, planning and management. My research interests include MSP, participatory mapping and modelling of marine habitats, resources and space-uses using conventional scientific and local knowledge systems together with various information technologies including remote sensing, GIS, drones and web apps.
