I first fell in love with cinematography while serving in the US Air Force. Now I have the opportunity to combine both my passions as a aerial cinematographer. For over 15 yrs I've worked on feature films and commercial video projects.
While helicopters are exciting, they are super expensive ($800 an hr), so I acquired my FAA licenses (sUAS certificate) to become a drone pilot to get the aerial coverage I wanted. I currently fly a Phantom 4pro with 4k HD camera for both video and photography. Camera accessories play an important role in getting the best out of any camera wether on the ground or in the air. I have many lens filters and other accessories to keep us flying all day and in any conditions if need be. I have submitted to the FAA for a "Daylight Operation" waiver allowing for night flying if your project requires it.
Always seeking to grow my craft I recently purchased a WaterStrider accessory for on the water landings and takeoff. Getting THE shot can sometimes be a risky but the payoff is a beautiful thing! For more info visit our website: www.iamfilmco.com
