Skypix was founded in 2017 by Lieutenant Colonel (R), father, and husband, German Hoppenstedt, who is an FAA licensed drone pilot. He spent much of his youth and adulthood building and flying radio controlled aircraft. With several years of experience flying remote control aircraft, to include in the U.S Army, he has transitioned to flying drones because of their flying qualities, technology, and ability to capture astounding photos and video.
