OUR STORY
Harpers Ferry Aerial was created by local Charles Town, WV resident Francis (Frank) Sutton. Frank and his wife of 25 years relocated to the Shenandoah Valley in early 2016. For the past 20 years Frank has worked as a lead software engineer for the top aviation think-tank, the “Center for Advanced Aviation System Development” which is managed by the MITRE Corporation in McLean, Virginia. Frank recently received his remote pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration which allows him to fly unmanned aircraft systems (UAVs) for commercial purposes. In the summer of 2016, Frank set out to combine his strengths and interests to form Harpers Ferry Aerial with the goal of becoming the areas leading drone technology service provider.
