Jordan Harms is a West Des Moines, Iowa native who proudly graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Studies and a minor in Agronomy. While a student at Iowa State University, Jordan spent his summers working in the agriculture field for a corn and soybean seed salesman. At this time, he began experimenting with the potential of drones by inspecting crops throughout the growing season to help farmers detect problems in the field and then being able to react more quickly to what was actually happening in the field. These experiences sparked an interest to bring the unique service to agriculture and businesses alike striving to have the same competitive edge in their industry. Now, he is certified through the FAA to safely provide drone services to a variety of businesses wishing to benefit from the many potential uses of drones and the solutions they help provide and has become an expert in drone mapping agricultural fields with hundreds of examples to share to prove the value of drone technology on the farm.
