It wasn't long after beginning to fly model airplanes as a kid, the urge to be up there with the aircraft and see what can only be seen from a bird's-eye view had my intrigue. I began fixing cameras to the airplanes; just cheep video cameras that would record during flight, and the footage could be viewed later from a personal computer. Little did I know the world would have a use for this "talent" or rather, this playful curiosity.

I now fix larger, more expensive recording devices to my aircraft; LiDAR and high-resolution cameras for topographic mapping! I took up drone aerial surveying when a friend mentioned he would like to use aerial surveying to support his business. Current aerial surveying services were too costly, and I knew I could do it at a lower rate. Without hesitation, I got to work and organized Golden Eagle Scanning, LLC. This was my big opportunity! The world finally had a need for kids flying toys with cameras! As long as a quality deliverable was provided afterword of course.
