After graduated from Fishers High School, I went through Army Basic Training, Infantry OCUT, and Airborne School. From there I attended Indiana State University and have Bachelor's degrees in both Unmanned Systems and Aviation Management. While attending, I also obtained my Part 107 commercial UAS operator certificate. I deployed in 2015 and was attached to the 1313th Horizonal Engineers, where I learned and operated heavy equipment and was a team leader for part of my stent at the end of which I obtained the rank of sergeant. After deployment I went back to the infantry as a team leader at B CO. 2-152 INF. DEV. helping train new arrivals to the unit. While attending ISU, I was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and Pi Kappa Alpha Honors fraternity. I also represented my university at the Commercial Drone Expo in Las Vegas, where I promoted, networked, and researched to improve our UMS program. I also help start the Vigo County Sheriffs and Vigo County EMA UMS program. A classmate and I worked with them from the first meeting through the purchase and training of personnel, by the end of which 24 officers and officials where Part 107 certified and using UMS in real world situations both in law enforcement and search and rescue operations. I also have a strong love for videography and photography.
