My name is David Cheng the owner and founder of David’s Drone Imaging & Thermography Services (http://www.dronemaging.com). I have always had a professional interest in aviation and information technology as a software developer in air transportation business. Furthermore, photography and videography are my long-time hobby since my youth-hood. This development by the FAA of formalizing the commercial use of drones captured my interest.

On February 15, 2017, I received an FAA sUAS pilot license and launched David’s Drone Imaging Services. While drones can be deployed in a vast array of applications, I’ve equipped, in addition to the cine/photo camera, my drones also have Near-infrared (NIR) and Thermal Imaging capabilities in order to better serve in the areas of agriculture, real estate, and property inspection. I'm also a certified level 1 sUAS Infrared Thermographer.
