I've been a consultant for most of my career, focused on the intersection between technology clinical and health sciences. Helping solve complex problems, translating between disparate groups and finding the right solution are what make work fun.

I started flying in the mid 1990s and took a major leap in 2013 into autonomous vehicles by building my own fully autonomous fixed wing V-Tail craft. I considered it a challenge to leverage all open source software, simple hardware and a basic airframe. With this platform, I've been able to survey land, perform crop studies (soil health, crop oil components using NVDI), and take high resolution photography and videos. I've built two more craft and use them on a regular basis for the same.

I stepped into commercial work with my fixed wing and quad copter to serve unique needs. I'm interested in any type of aerial project, and like to bring creativity to the solution. Orthomosaic and photometry work is a specialized area of focus.
