I grew up in central Kansas and attended Kansas State University, where I earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Aeronautical Science. After graduating from college, I spent a few years flight instructing in various places such as upstate New York, Utah, and Montana. In my early 20's, I was hired by a regional airline where I spent the next 15 years flying around the US, Canada, Mexico, and Bahamas. I have since started a carpentry business and a drone business and have developed a passion for photography and videography. I have become proficient in photo editing in Lightroom and video editing in Adobe Premiere Elements and have learned basic mapping (non-GCP) and 3D modeling using WebODM. I worked with an agricultural company last spring and flew over 180 hours using an M300 to scout soybean and corn crops, and am interested in expanding in that area. I'm also interested in learning more about mapping and industrial inspections.
