Hoss Boyd, Founder, President, & CEO, is an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot with over 130 hours in the R22 helicopter. NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installation Professional; Master Electrician; and MS degree in Operations Management. Retired from Air Force (Lt Colonel) with 13 years Reserve duty in logistics and 17 years active duty in both logistics and as a Titan II ICBM Missile Commander. Nearly 20 years business experience in commercial electrical contracting and solar/energy storage development. Will complete the Texas licensing requirements for insurance adjusting in early June 2020, with plans to perform storm damage assessments for solar installations. Plans also underway to add drone mapping and large array solar inspections. TeraVolt Energy (and its predecessor companies) have been in continuous operation since 2002. Completed solar projects include roof-mounted grid-tied, ground-mounted grid tied. solar shade structures, and off-grid solar with generator and battery storage. All solar projects are turn-key commercial design-build.
