For the past four years I have been studying physics and astronomy at the University of Wisconsin, Madison; I will be receiving my bachelor’s degree after 12 more credits. I enlisted with the US Air Force Reserves in August of 2016 and have been trained as an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Technician. In training I received the Honor Graduate award for scoring in the top 10% of my class in basic military training, the Top Graduate award for having the highest score in technical training and have been assigned several leadership positions throughout my time in active duty training. Studying the technical details of how aircraft work is what initially sparked my interest in UAV’s, specifically quadcopters. I have been building and flying 5” racing quadcopters for over two years and have recently received my Part 107 Certificate to fly commercially.
