About Upwind
I'm a lowcountry pilot, avid photographer, and businessman. A 1996 U.S. Naval Academy graduate, I selected Naval Aviation and completed Flight School in 1998. I deployed to Southwest Asia and South America while serving with HSL-48 and flew the SH-60B Seahawk helicopter. After completing "Sea Duty" I then transferred to Naval Air Station Key West where I served as a Station Pilot flying the C-12 (King Air), and H-3 in a Search and Rescue Role. I certainly enjoyed the opportunity to serve my Country and still serve in the US Naval Reserve.

Following Active Duty, I joined my father running a Charleston based Disaster Preparedness and Relief Company. I served as Vice-President directing logistics, supplies, and operations for Emergency Management Agencies and Public Health Departments across the Country. I also assisted several Non-Government Organizations in their preparedness efforts such as the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, and Save the Children.

Going back to my roots in aviation, I am now able to combine the visual of aviation, with my love of photography. As the images will show, the view is truly inspiring.

I enjoy flying, fishing, and running in my spare time.
