I got into drones through genealogy! I started mapping cemeteries & enjoyed the technical challenge of creating 3D models of cemeteries, where the main features are hard-to-read headstones. Cultural & historic preservation projects led me to constructions projects because they require detailed tracking of changes & progression over time.
I have a Mavic 2 Pro & a Mavic 2 Zoom for work, & a Parrot Anafi for personal/practice. I've been flying drones since 2020 & I became FAA Part 107 certified in December 2022. I also have an Insta360 camera for creating 3D tours.
