I started flying small pocket drones a few years ago and moved up to larger toy drones shortly after. I found that practicing flying with a cheaper drone made me push my skills because I wasn't afraid to break it. Within the last few months I became interested in commercial drone work and started studying for the Part 107 test. Shortly after I received my FAA Cert, I bought a Phantom 4 Advanced and have been flying it everyday since. I've experimented with Pix4D making models of my house as well as DroneDeploy.
Other relevant experience includes: hand sketching and measuring, modeling in Sketchup, interacting with homeowners and performing various types of inspections.
My goal is to fly drones for a living and that's what I plan on doing with the experience I gain from the various tasks I perform.
