Philip Flinn is a seasoned IT and communications expert with over two decades of experience in voice, data, video, and unified communications architecture. He has held leadership roles at major enterprises, including GMAC, Sabre, and Concentra, and currently serves as a Unified Communications Engineer for Medquest Associates. Philip’s technical strengths span Cisco route/switch, SD-WAN, cloud video platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx), and Python scripting for IoT and automation.
Beyond IT, Philip is the Assistant Fire Chief at Morgan Mill VFD, where he leads emergency operations, disaster response, and communications systems integration. He has secured substantial grant funding, manages advanced land mobile radio systems, and plays a pivotal role in training, preparedness, and response across multiple emergency scenarios.
He is also an accomplished aviator, holding a private pilot’s license with over 1,000 flight hours. Additionally, he is FAA-certified under Part 107 as a commercial drone operator, applying his aviation and remote sensing skills in emergency response, aerial inspections, and technology deployments.
