About Ed Beck Photography LLC

Aerial drone photography was my destiny from the start. I fell in love with photography and flying at about the same time and pursued them both on different levels. In grad school I earned extra money as a stringer and freelancer with local and national publications. After grad school I entered the USAF where I have over 2,000 hours in various military aircraft as a navigator. Shortly after leaving the Air Force I earned my private pilot license and flew single engine aircraft in the Puget Sound area.

I returned to photography where I run a successful business as a commercial photographer. I work with real estate agents, builders, and marketing companies to produce high-quality images for marketing.

I view the drone as a way to put a camera in a unique location at a relatively low cost. When choosing my drone I paid particular attention to ones that could be upgraded via software and have pre-set video shots. This allows me to get the shot you're after by setting up the shot, and then running the drone along the pre-programmed path to capture what you're after. I do this two-step process so I can first concentrate on the flying, getting the positions and altitudes that the drone needs to be, and then on the photography.

You can see my photography at http://edbeckphotography.com/ and examples of my drone video work at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtbWODsSUM0 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mO7GNrHZ8r8.

I look forward to working with you to make your vision come alive.
