About David Davis

A self-taught photographer, I quickly developed an interest in the moving image and the craft of storytelling using the camera. I attended film school at SCAD in Savannah, GA and graduated with a BFA in 2011. After college, I took a job at a small TV station in Aspen, CO where I worked as a field producer, director, and cameraman. In 2013, I moved to Seattle where I have collaborated on numerous projects, including: Feature films, Documentaries, Television shows, Music videos, Commercials, and Live events.

Being a lifelong aviation enthusiast, I took an early interest in the integration of drones into my camera work, as they provide a unique perspective. In 2018, after a few years of flying for fun and personal projects, I earned my Part 107 License from the FAA, allowing me to fly commercially. I have flown several different drones as a PIC and Camera Operator. Aircraft: DJI Inspire 1 & 2, Mavic Pro, Phantom 4, & 3DR Solo.

As a freelance filmmaker & pilot I enjoy being outdoors, on location, and working with professionals who are dedicated to safety and quality.
