I am a professional firefighter and the program manager for a major metropolitan fire department's UAS program in Austin, TX. As the owner/founder and a licensed private pilot, I operate First Up Drones as a professional air operation, applying all the procedures, discipline, and professionalism required of any crewed aviation program. I have been a drone pilot since 2016 and have served as our department's senior pilot and lead flight instructor since 2020. Currently, I am working toward my Master of Science in Uncrewed & Autonomous Systems from Embry-Riddle University.

I have extensive experience conducting infrastructure inspections and managing construction projects to create 2D maps and 3D models. We conduct weekly mapping missions for a utility company based in Austin, providing volumetric stockpile data, radiometric measurements, and 3D building inspections over 160 acres. Our work in disaster response has further honed our skills in building inspections and documenting property damage for homeowners, businesses, and insurance companies. Our team's experience with public safety UAS operations at SXSW, ACL, F1, and UT Football games makes us uniquely suited to provide persistent situational awareness during any special event. We have an excellent relationship with the FAA and are confident in obtaining airspace authorization in most circumstances.
