I have recently completed a drone course through Southern Connecticut State University and have earned my part 107 FAA license. I have also completed Level I sUAS Thermography Certification with ITC.

While this is a relatively new career interest for me, I have a very broad and deep formal background in the sciences. I was a high school science teacher for over 30 years and spent the last six of those years teaching physics, which is particularly relevant to flying drones as well as understanding the science behind thermography (and other types of remote sensing), making careful measurements and collecting and organizing data. I have been flying practice mapping, inspection and photography missions for several months and have a knack for editing video.

Having been raised in, and around aviation (my father was a Navy fighter pilot and later a commercial pilot for various airlines) I have a deep respect for aviation and an understand the importance of planning for safety.

I am interested in flying any and all types of drone missions with a particular passion for infrared inspections of solar and other types of infrastructure as well as real estate and construction. I have recently formed my own drone services LLC and have been studying up on the buisness and attending related webinars (mapping, insurance).
This pilot has not uploaded any videos into their portfolio yet.
